From Wild Horse Inn, take CR 83 to Hwy 40 and head into Fraser. At the Conoco Station in Fraser, turn right, proceed across the railroad tracks and immediately make a left to parallel the tracks. The road turns into CR 73, Saint Louis Creek Road. Park at the rodeo grounds.
Start the ride by heading west on Givelo Trail. Turn right at the first intersection onto CR 505. Turn left onto CR 50, pass two lodges on the right, climb up a hill and ride until you come to the trailhead for Tipperary Creek. Turn left onto this trail and begin a steady climb through trees and meadows. Bypass Backscratch Trail on your right near the top and continue to the intersection with Spruce Creek Trail. A technical and very fast descent down Spruce Creek Trail brings you to CR 73, a dirt road. Turn right at the road, then make a left beyond the parking area onto FS 159.
Cross the creek and find Flume Trail on your left. Descend Flume Trail to the intersection with Chainsaw. Turn right onto Chainsaw Trail and follow this to the end at Elk Creek Road. Turn right on this road and then left onto Elk Meadow Trail. Turn left onto D2. When you come to CR 892, turn left again and continue to WTB Trail. Turn left onto WTB. Turn left again on D4, which will take you to Vasquez Creek Road. Turn right onto Vasquez Road and climb to CR 897 and turn left. Turn left again at Blue Sky Trail and descend. Cross the bridge and come to Little Vasquez Road. Turn left for about 100 yards and then bear right onto Ice Hill Trail. Go right on Lower Cherokee Trail and begin climbing to Tunnel Hill Road. Turn right onto Tunnel Hill Road, then go about 200 yards and turn left onto Upper Cherokee Trail. Climb to the intersection with Long Trail, turn left and ride down to the resort to finish.
